Hello! I just got back from Jurong Point after eating some lovely kebabs. Okay two kebabs. I normally eat one but well, I was hungry. :\ I wish there's banquet here in siglap! One super big banquet like jurong cause jurong has the best. And it's got kebabs. I love kebabs.
Kem Kewartawan's over and we got fourth! I am very happy with that :) Camp was a blast la! Even with all the pressure and deadlines but it rocked really. Even though 3 quarters of the time I was freezing my butt off(kencing beku!). Anyway, maybe I wanna be a wartawan. Maybe. But I don't really think it's my cuppa tea. I never really thought of being a wartawan, though I like writing(in malay that was really hard). Coming up with words was so tough. My malay sucks.
Anyway, our instructors?advisors? were fun and funny and nice. Farid was the funniest. That man is just whoah funny. He makes jokes most of the time and theyre all funny! Not like people who try too hard to be funny y'know. And aida, that girl reads my mind. See, we both are really thinking the same thing, then I'll say something like "She's hot" or "He's hot" and she'll be shuttup zaff! and I'll be you started it! then we'll just smile like a bunch of losers.
Oh there was this guy, Fauzan. He was so sporting but he fell down when he wanted to come on stage to sing! Aww kesian. He couldnt stand up later on:\ But he was really brave. We had this sorta singing thing while waiting for results and about 10 people sang? Noone dared to at first but I was surprised to see many people come forward to sing. Ooooh there was this st marg's girl, Lydia. Her voice is daaaaaaaaaaaamn nice. Like super super nice, you don't know how good a fifteenyearold can sing. And she sang one of my favourite songs so thats good:)
We made some friends too, like TKGS girls(tas's friends!) and st marg's girls. I met Syamimi!(: Anyway, I made friends with the Kranji girl and she was really nice. She told me not to worry about stress (x and about her cca. I wish I got her email or something! Shit, I should really get into this whole socialising thing.
The food was good too. Not bad for food that comes from a styrofoam packet. Maybe we're just used to gross angklung lunches. yuck. We had teas and breakfasts like cakes and epok-epoks and pizzas. I miss that.
Okay, the main thing that bothered me after camp was that I'm not a normal kid. Maybe it's just me, but I wanna be like everyone else in that room. I don't want to answer rgs to everyone that asks my school and then talk about stressstressstress. I don't want to start every conversation with what homework we get and get praised for how smart we are. I wanna socialise like a normal kid! Nowadays I wish noone asks me what school I am and thats just plain sad. I realised I'm not like other malay teens): I used to feel so budak sekolah makan maggi bawah blk in primary school! That feeling's gone now & I wish I was brave like the other kids and could interact well and make jokes and know what everyone else is talking about. There's this thing about kids from other schools that I/we don't have. I dunno what it is but they seem to have something in common. If we don't talk, we seem antisocial or snobbish when actually we're begging to join in! I dunno la but I dont seem to have manymany friends besides my rgs friends. Except from madrasah & my pri school & bestfriends & company kids. It felt really good during camp to laugh at Farid's jokes and then smile knowingly at another girl knowing she's just as tickled as you are! And wishing that we could all just talk about how cold we are and not bring up what school we're from. Thank God for Obor shirts then :)

Ohwells I'm beat & Ive got tuition tmr so I'll post pictures from camp tmr! Complete with details on the celebs we met! :)
