no matter how much i say singapore is boring, i still love you yes i do!
we celebrated national day in school in the morning. the performances were fine. except the sec2s one. kind of...bleh.it was a bit of wth.
then, me and aida got excited over a certain person!(((: hothothothot.
and munya whatever you say, that person is hot okayy!
then evening ayah picked up zaki imran inin and arham and we went back to my house to watch the parade on tv then we went to tanjong rhu to watch fireworks!!!! by the river tau. aiseyman. damn nice.like BAMBADABOOMBAM. we bentang the tikar on the grass and ate twisties and toblerone and peanuts.mmhm.
there were this group of cool angmoh people! chiochiochio. with all these glasses of wine probably in hand. then there was this enthu little girl dancing. entertaining but quite annoying. haha sorry little girl.
so us and other manymanymany patriotic singaporeans who couldnt go to the parade sat there watching the fireworks. the fireworks were quite close actually. there was a lot a lot of people i tell you. and some cute children sat on their daddy's cars! on the roof la!
after it all, we walked back to the car singing national day songs. there was a big traffic jam so we sat in the car for almost an hour. making one whole useless round.
oh there was this lorry la. then the police said that we couldnt pass through that lane. then the lorry driver and his family kinda argued. then agreed to not pass. then when the police was not looking, MAYHEMMAYHEM. we turned his lorry and attempted to pass through. notynoty.
we ended up fighting in the car. boxing and stuff. inin cried. awww. we ordered dinner from the macs drivethrough and had 4 double cheeseburgers and fries and nuggets and corn in the car. now the car's messy. it was a longlong way home and we missed spore idol anyway.
ohya that afternoon i had to go to someone's wedding. it was so retro! black and red ah!
ibu says they nak tangkap glamour.tsktsk. but it was so coooool. velvety chairs. black goldfish(!!!) in bowl. red birds in cage!!!!! they made the multi purpose hall look like this disco thing!!!! ahhhhhh. i like. the pelamin had these beads on the stairs and all. and some disco looking thing. the whole place was like a tent! the black and red cloth covered the whole area. to think it was only a multi purpose hall. oh and the centre had a real bird hanging from it.
FOOD. was delicious. yummy gilerrr.(:
desserts! BROWNIES, STRAWBERRY BREAD AND BUTTER PUDDING, STRAWBERRY ROLLS, BUBUR etc etc. food heaven man. i went crazy. i think one auntie got quite annoyed with me cos i kept crossing her path at the food table.
oh they gave us these cool feather fans! red and white! i can put them with my pink one from hanis. and the fans were wrapped in black lace!!! so like masquerade party.
but i tot it was kinda modern la. not really malayish. cept the kompangs.
